October 19th – All-State Show Choir Auditions – Bluff Park UMC**
October 23rd – Tentative Fall Concert – HHS
October 29th-30th – Fall District
November 1st – Music Festival Rehearsal – 9-12 – Minor HS
November 7th – All-State Choir Auditions**
November 14th – Music Festival Rehearsal – 12-2 – Boutwell
$50.00 trip payment due
November 15th – Jefco Music Festival – 7:00 – Boutwell Auditorium
November 29th – Holiday Concert – North Highlands Baptist Church
December 11th – Dinner Theater – NHBC
December 12th - $50.00 trip payment due
January 10th-12th – AMEA Conference/All-State Show Choir
January 16th - $50.00 trip payment due
January 17th-19th – UAB Honor Choir
February 13th - $100.00 trip payment due
February 25-27th – Spring District
March 12th – FINAL BALANCE DUE ON TRIP
March 13th-15th- All-State Choir
April 21st-25th – State Festival
April 29th – Spring Concert @ NHBC
April 30th – May 4th – SPRING TRIP – CHICAGO
May 22nd – Graduation

**If you are interested in trying out for all-state show choir or regular choir you will be responsible for purchasing your music. Go to jwpepper.com and click on state/festival lists then Festival lists: Alabama. Click on All-State and pick which choir you want to try out for. They will then mail you the music.

And we're off.....

It was so great to see everyone back at school this week. It's always hard to get back in the swing of things but as I told the kids, I was actually excited about starting back to school!!!

Just a couple of updates.....first of all, our spring trip this year will be to CHICAGO!!! This looks to be one of the best trips yet. Contracts and chaperone information will be distributed in a couple of weeks!

Please make sure you received a copy of the Choir Handbook the first day of school. All forms that were to be signed by parents are due now! Please don't forget to include the parent involvement form.....I need all the help I can get!
